Privacy Policy

Effective: June 6, 2026

PowerBuild ("we", "the app") is a strength-training app for iPhone operated by Aaron Graffam. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Data we collect

When you create an account and use PowerBuild, we store:

Email address — from Sign in with Apple (including Hide My Email relay addresses) or email/password sign-in.
User ID — a unique identifier for your account.
Name (optional) — if you set a display name in Settings → Account.
Fitness data — workout logs you enter: exercises, sets, weight, reps, RPE, WOD scores, session notes, and related training preferences.
Programs — active and completed program instances, custom programs you create, and community programs you choose to share publicly.

How we use data

Authenticate you and sync your data across sessions and devices.
Display your training history, analytics, estimated 1RM profiles, and optional leaderboard rank.
Operate community program sharing when you opt in.

We do not use your data for advertising, sell it to third parties, or track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Where data is stored

Account and workout data are stored in Supabase (hosted PostgreSQL and authentication), which processes data on our behalf. Data is transmitted over HTTPS.

Leaderboard

If you log qualifying lifts, your monthly estimated 1RM may appear on the global leaderboard ("The Board") under an anonymized display name derived from your account — not your email address.

Community content

If you enable "Share with community" on a custom program, other PowerBuild users can browse and activate that program template. Community sharing includes program metadata and workout structure only — no direct messages or media uploads.

Data on your device

The app stores session tokens and local preferences (e.g. tracked lifts for charts) using iOS UserDefaults. This stays on your device.

Third-party services

Supabase — authentication, database, and account deletion.
Sign in with Apple — optional primary sign-in method governed by Apple's privacy terms.

We do not integrate third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

Children

PowerBuild is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices

Access and update — view and edit your profile name and training preferences in Settings.
Delete account — Settings → Account → Delete account removes your account and associated server data. See Support for steps.
Contact — email support@powerbuild.app for privacy questions or data requests.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
